Everyone dreamed to be valuable in the society.. but, if they do not get the chances or scopes then what will they do?? Is it professing to follow any path to establish yourself?? Then what will be the morals, ethics of society?? Let's see what Hindu Mythology says....

Many of us born with some potential, or, some extraordinary skills, or, leadership ability, or, nothing but enormous dreams.. But the existing situations, existing  circumstances often failed to help us to go with our capacity or ability, or, to follow those dreams which are beyond our desrvedness or, our meritoriousness.

But, is it bad to dreaming about success or want to be established?? Or, if a person has the capability then what is the problem if he or she wants to be properly designated in the society?? No, no problem at all. But, to make a dream fulfill if anyone follows the path which brings a social decay or something inhumane then the dream becomes curse in one's life.. Sorrow, unsatisfaction, irritation become the keys of one's life..

For an example Let's see the legend of Shukracharya.. Yes, let's see how the Guru of the Asura, Shukracharya  became a threat for the ETERNAL WORLD.

Shukracharya was the son of Rishi Bhrigu and Khyati. His original name was Ushana. He was a meritorious one, besides that he was a poet and he had the knowledge on medicine and mantras. In bhagwat puran and Vamana Puran he was mentioned with a name "Kavi".

Observing his capability, to make him more knowledgeable his father sent him to the Ashram of Sage Angiras. There he studied with Brihaspati, the son of Angiras. But, he was so much unfortunate that he became a victim of nepotism. His talent made jealous his guru, Sage Angiras, the sage gave extra care and did partiality to his son Brihaspati, which hurt Shukra a lot. He left the Ashram and went to sage Gautam to develop himself more. But, watching his merit sage Goutam suggested him to pleased lord Shiva and took wisdom directly from him.

Then Shukracharya started Worshiping Lord shiva devotedly. After a long performance he satisfied Shiva and obtained the Sanjeevani Mantra, through which he can bring life to any dead one.

Within this period Brihaspati became the Guru of Devas. Knowing this Shukra became angry and felt insulted so he therefore decided to help the Asura. To get him as the Guru, Asura became more powerful. They attacked the Devas and after the conflict if any of them lost his life Shukracharya brought his life back again. So, every devas specially Indra became insecure due to Shukracharya. Devas applied various ways to stopped Shukra. They sent Kacha, the son of Brihaspati to Shukra to learn this Sanjivani Mantra. At first Shukra refused to teach him that mantra. But once the Asura killed and burnt Kacha and poured the ashes in the Shukracharya's drinks. Unknown about the facts Shukracharya had drunk his drinks. Later Shukracharya's daughter Devyani who felt love for Kacha insisted her father to bring back Kacha. Shukracharya then came to know that Kacha was residing in his stomach. And if Shukracharya made him alive then Shukra had to kill himself. So, Shukra taught Kacha the Sanjeevani Mantra and Kacha promised him once he became alive he will make Shukra alive too. By this phenomenon Shukracharya had lost the monopoly petent of his knowledge.

From another legend we come to know that Lord Vishnu was born as the Brahmin dwarf-sage Vamana. Vamana comes to take the three worlds as alms from the asura king Bali. Lord Vishnu wanted to deceive the king Bali who was the grandson of the great king Prahlada, in order to help the Devas. The sage Shukracharya identifies him immediately and warns the King. The King is however a man of his word and offers the gift to Vamana. Shukracharya, annoyed with the pride of the king, shrinks himself with his powers and sits in the spout of the Kamandalu, from which water has to be poured to seal the promise to the deity in disguise. Then Vamana pierced his eye with a stick and thus got his gift, to obtain three lokas from Bali. and, Shukra lost his one eye as his return gift.

Finally when Shukra became threat to the devas, Lord Shiva swallowed him and inside shiva's body Shukra saw the endless, timeless divine world. And he started to praising Lord shiva. Then after 1000 years Shiva made him free. And Shukra realised this eternal world, birth, death, envy, jealousy etc. are nothing but some worldly phenomenon. If anyone wanted to find the real peace he or she should focus on the divine world, where there is no confusion about what to do or what not to do, there is no insecurity and no obligation to prove yourself best.

So, it is clearly shown that if you invest your merit, your capability in the wrong deeds, you always survived badly. Your greed, higher ambition to prove yourself best, never be satisfied. So, however and whatever the talent, the merit, the capability you consist apply for the deeds which develop the moral values of society. Learn to live yourself happily and let the others to be lived. One, who lives with insecurities they can't satisfy anybody in this world.
